Cultivating Generosity Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: November 11, 2025
Our Commitment
Cultivating Generosity is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming experience for all clients, partners, and community members. We believe that accessibility is an essential part of cultivating generosity, and we strive to ensure that everyone—regardless of ability—can access our services, materials, and communications in a way that meets their individual needs.
Our Policy
We are guided by the principles of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity, as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
We work to identify and remove barriers that prevent full participation in our programs, both online and in person.
Accessibility in Our Services
Cultivating Generosity provides consulting, training, and communications support to nonprofit organizations across Ontario and Canada. We are committed to:
-
Ensuring our digital materials (Word, PDF, Excel, and online resources) follow accessibility standards (e.g., readable fonts, proper contrast, tagged PDFs).
-
Making our website and digital communications compatible with screen readers and accessible navigation tools, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
-
Offering alternative formats (e.g., large print, accessible PDFs, plain text) upon request.
-
Providing virtual meeting accommodations, such as captions or transcripts, when requested in advance.
-
Ensuring training materials and presentations are accessible to participants with disabilities.
Communication
We will communicate with individuals with disabilities in ways that consider their abilities and preferred communication methods.
Clients may request information or services in an accessible format at any time by contacting us (see section 8).
Assistive Devices and Support Persons
Clients and guests are welcome to use personal assistive devices, service animals, or support persons while engaging with Cultivating Generosity services. If meetings are held in shared facilities, we will ensure accessibility wherever possible and communicate any limitations in advance.

All staff, contractors, or volunteers associated with Cultivating Generosity receive training on:
-
The purpose and requirements of the AODA;
-
The Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to accessibility; and
-
Best practices for providing accessible customer service and communications.
Training is reviewed and updated as needed.
